Most Comfortable Set Of Bars

I recently had Hill Country install a set of Hell Bent Apes (18") on my 2018 Sport Glide. We just returned from a 3,700 mile, 13 state in 10 days ride. These are the most comfortable set of bars I have had the pleasure of sitting behind. The ergonomics are just right especially for myself, being 6'1". I would recommend them to anyone who wants a comfortable riding position and the quality and style are unmatched. Love 'em!

Super Comfortable

I installed the 14" Narrow Apes on my 07' Dyna Super Glide from you guys this past week and just wanted to send you the results. I'm 5'10 and have the bars on Joker Machine 2" height 1.5" pull back. My hands rest at about 2" over the shoulder. SUPER COMFORTABLE and with bars angled just very so slightly forward there is no lean. Packaging was unparalleled and arrived before the lead time that you said would be done. Can't thank you enough. All cables were at the perfect length and watched all your videos for reference. Super Happy.

Best thing I ever did to my bike without a doubt.!

I just wanted to say how much more I like my flhx with my 16" HCC bagger apes.  I rode 10,000 miles last year with the stock bars and could not stand the feel of them. Being 6'3" all I wanted was more space.  I am in love with my bike and the bars all over again!  It's amazing how comfortable I feel.  Best thing I ever did to my bike without a doubt.  I strongly recommend you give them a try. Everything about the experience with HCC was quick and painless.

All I can say is WOW!!!!

These bars are amazing, and are extremely comfortable. I had them installed by a local shop in town, and the tech couldn't believe how simple the install was. I've recommended your company to several friends, and they all have commented on the feel and looks of the bars.

To the HCC team,     My handlebar kit was great! The whole set up just kicked ass...

I put your 16 inch ape hanger kit on my Electra Glide....I "LOVE" the kit, The bars are REALLY nice and the whole set up just kicked ass.....the only down falls where some one said they  would work with a clock works windshield which it does but the guy i talked to said it would still butt up against the fairing and it don't....Also i Installed the bars my self and its a lot more then a 2 hr job to put bars on a bagger( one of your guys said it should only take around 2 hrs to do)......but other then that it went great and looks really good, now all i need is a new seat and my bike will be how i want it!!!

I recently purchased a handlebar kit with new switches and internal wiring and I could not have been happier. Starting with the phone call to place the order, the wiring of the bars and shipping. A+ work as far as I’m concerned. All the new cables fit perfect and look great. I opted to have you all add the plugs so I could avoid soldering and I’m glad I did well worth the money (to me anyway). You all have earned future business from me.

Customer Service blew me away!

Talked with Chris earlier this afternoon about an issue I had with some bars and his customer service blew me away!

There were some pits and rust spots on the bars I just got and he offered right away to send me a new set. As a sales guy, I deal with all kinds of issues with my customers and I can’t tell you how great it was not to have to “work” to get some help. Outstanding way of doing business.  I will not hesitate to recommend you to others.

You guys rock !!!!  I emailed last night and the email was actually returned to my surprise the very next morning didn’t know that was even possible anymore a lot of company’s could take lessons from you. That wasn’t even about to prepare me for what happened next. I called at 5:15 right when I got home from work not realizing that you closed at 5:00 till after I left a message.  I really expected to have to call the following day when the phone rings its Andy asking me if there was anything that he could help me with mind you it’s now 6:00.  About fell on the floor it’s nice to know that the people whom your doing business and giving them your hard earned money are considerate enough to call you back let alone the very night you left the message after business hours. I know that you will not be able to do this every time a customer needs help but just replying at all is something that just doesn’t happen enough anymore. You guys have won my business over and believe me everyone I know will soon be aware of HILL COUNTRY CUSTOMS is where they should go to get bike parts. All that said I placed an order tonight with Andy and look forward to doing more business with you guys. Might even stop by sometime on a road trip.

I installed a set of 16" chubby apes on my 2001 heritage and a set of 18" carlinis on my son's 96 fatboy. we purchased both sets from brian at hill country cycles. brian was great to work with and the kits were perfect. it took me a couple days but i didn't really know what i was doing. but everything went right and we both absolutely love our new rides. would and have recommended brian and hccc to anyone.

Customer Service is A+ in my book...

A big plug for Hill Country Customs. The 18” kit I bought is phenomenal and I would recommend it to anybody thinking of installing apes. I did have a minor issue with the wire plug on the bars, but I will say your customer service is A+ in my book. Brian was on the phone about 6 times with me trying to help figure out the problem. He even gave me his cell phone# for after hours help. We did figure it out and it was very minor, just a pin connector was a little out of place, it was easily moved to the correct spot. I really didn’t want to send the bars back to be rewired and neither did Brian. It's nice to know that some places still care about the customer after the sale.

On another note, I am having one small problem with the horn switch. When pressed, it remains on until I press the top and shut it off. Any simple fix for this? Seems like it is just sticking.

What amazed me the most...

Just wanted to let you guys know that when I came home from work Friday that my new handlebars were sitting at my front door. Like a kid in a candy store, I took them into the house and unpacked everything and man did I get excited! I went straight to the garage and tore off the old bars and all my cables. Decided to call it a night and waited until this morning to start the install. I was back in the garage at 8:00 this morning and at 2:00 this afternoon I was cruising down the road with my new 16 inch apes on my road king.

I will without a doubt recommend your bars to anyone who inquires about them. What amazed me the most was that I installed them with no significant problems. I'm a plumber and know how to work with tools and my hands, but I'm by no means a motorcycle mechanic or a mechanic of any sort. Anyway, I just thought I would compliment you on a great product and I can't wait to go riding tomorrow knowing that I installed my new bars completely on my own!
